The approximately 88m2 flat on two floors is located in the former mill of Ardez. On the modern renovated first floor there is an open-plan kitchen and living/dining area, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom/WC. The sheltered terrace with wonderful views of the mountains and forests opposite can be reached from the living room. Two further bedrooms and a small shower/WC can be reached via a steep staircase. These cosy rooms are located under the roof and are kept in the original hut style.


The house is in a very quiet location just outside the village on the little road to the picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, the main location in the Schellenursli film, which is only inhabited in summer. From the living room/terrace you have a marvellous view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the special forests of the Lower Engadine. Shopping facilities and the post office are located in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be purchased directly from the nearby Naturhof Campell.


In the same house there is also a 1.5-room holiday flat and a cosy studio. Both flats and the studio can also be rented together - an ideal option for larger families/generational holidays.


The Ardez train station is 650m away and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The Motta Naluns ski area can be reached via Ftan in 5 minutes by car, via Scuol in 10 minutes by train. Ardez has a night-time cross-country ski trail, which can be reached in approx. 15 minutes on foot. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km long Dario Cologna cross-country ski trail. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive may be an advantage. A pick-up service from the train station can be organised.


In summer, the entire Lower Engadine is ideal for beautiful hikes, whether short or long. The hike from Ardez over a suspension bridge to Tarasp and then to Scuol or to Murtera d'Ardez, another film location in the Schellenursli film, is popular. The Swiss National Park is also close by.
