Allegra illa Chasa Riatsch - Welcome to a typical Engadine house, built in the 17th century. Situated in the centre of the village and close to the train station, yet in a quiet location. The house has been gently renovated again and again, most recently in 2019, with respect for the historic building structure. It offers relaxing holidays with Engadine flair on two floors.


The Stüva is lined with wood and the typical Lower Engadine stove, with stairs to the upper floor. There is a large table in the parterre, which invites you to cosy family meals or games evenings. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, glass ceramic hob and a cosy table with corner bench for breakfast or dinner. A shower/WC can also be found on the ground floor and, as a highlight, the small party room is also located on this floor. There you can enjoy a good glass of wine or local beer and reflect on the day together.


All bedrooms and a second lounge are located on the upper floor, where you can pass the time in the evening or in bad weather with the football kit and other games. There are two bedrooms with double beds (1x 160, 1×180 cm), a single room (1x 90 cm) and a walk-through room with a bunk bed (2x 90 cm) on this floor. There is also a bathroom with bathtub, WC and changing table.


In the outdoor area of the house there is a large trampoline, a sandpit and a covered table under a pergola with barbecue. This area is shared with the owners of the house

Surrounded by sgraffito-decorated houses, Ardez offers a magnificent view of the National Park and the imposing Lower Engadine Dolomites.


Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity and Ardez railway station is just a few minutes' walk away.


In summer, Ardez is the starting point for hikers and bikers on tours in and around the Swiss National Park.


In winter, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and tobogganing trails are groomed. The children's ski lift invites you to take your first steps on skis and is free of charge. The Motta Naluns ski area can be easily reached by car or ski bus via Ftan or by train in just 7 minutes directly to the valley station.
