Gino Clavuot alias SNOOK is a Swiss rapper and commuter between worlds: linguistically, culturally and professionally. Growing up in Tarasp in the Lower Engadine, he brings together Brazilian roots and the Romansh language. When Romansh became his artistic language, he found a unique voice that is deeply interwoven with his identity. This rootedness in Romansh culture and his family heritage characterise his music - rap that often deals thematically with home, identity and cultural heritage.

His introduction to music came early: after a snowboarding accident during his school days, he began writing his own lyrics, inspired by hip-hop. The band Camillionerz, founded with friends at grammar school, was the beginning, and he soon switched from Swiss German to Romansh. The choice was easy for him, as he ‘thinks and feels in Romansh’ - a switch that made him an important ambassador far beyond the borders of our holiday region.

Nina Mayer is a passionate singer and vocal coach from the Lower Engadine who has made a name for herself not only with her impressive voice, but also with her commitment. As the choir director of several choirs in the region, she not only promotes singing, but also the community and cultural exchange.

Her musical career is characterised by a deep connection to Romansh culture and the traditional sounds of the Engadin. Nina has made it her mission to keep these musical traditions alive and pass them on to the next generation. Her choirs, which range from young talents to experienced singers, reflect her conviction that music has a unifying power.

Dario Fallet is a talented musician and versatile artist who is deeply rooted in the culture of Val Müstair. Having grown up in the picturesque mountain region, he has a strong connection to nature and the traditions of his homeland. With his passion for music and his band, Dario has not only won the hearts of the locals, but has also attracted attention far beyond the borders of the valley. His enthusiasm for music and especially the guitar developed at a young age when he heard the guitar sounds of Deep Purple and Dire Straits. Dario often enjoys going for walks in the countryside with his guitar. Places like the ‘Cascada da Pisch’ waterfall or the ‘Balcun At’ ruins are among his favourite spots. Here he finds inspiration for new songs and then plays them directly on his guitar.
