Villa Shalimar is located in the artists' quarter of Surpunt, the jewel of Susch. The stylishly renovated Engadine farmhouse is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, adjacent to the wild nature of the Lower Engadine not far from the Inn (river). Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails are right on the doorstep. Our house was rebuilt according to building biology principles. The whole house is operated with a wood central heating system. In order to keep electrosmog as low as possible, all rooms have Internet connections through the socket. Wi-Fi is only switched on when it is needed. At night it is switched off. In the beautiful museum at the end of the street there is a small charming bistro. There is also a village shop for everything you need. From the train station it is about a 7-minute walk to the house. For guests arriving by car, there is 1 parking space available. The apartment is also suitable for riders who want to spend the holiday with their horses. We have 2 - 3 outdoor boxes with a run and large pastures. Activities with horses or ponies on request. Due to its central location, Susch is the ideal starting point for excursions in all directions, so it is hard to beat in terms of variety. Be it the picturesque villages, the spectacular mountains, the National Park, Livigno, the duty-free zone in Italy (40 min), the ancient baths of Bormio (1.5 hours), the beautiful Val Monastero, to name a few.
