Presentation of the Swiss Holiday Award in Scuol

Bernhard Aeschbacher, Director of TESSVM, opened the event with a thank you. He acknowledged the great commitment of the hosts, whose work not only brings guests to the region, but also ensures a pleasant stay and an unforgettable vacation experience. And with good reason: Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair took first place in the "Outstanding Number of Reviews" category with 4.77 out of 5 possible points.

Reviews are becoming increasingly important
Dieter Rumpel then emphasized the importance of guest reviews in his speech: "In recent years, it has become clear that guest reviews influence various aspects of the booking process. Vacation apartments with many positive reviews are ranked higher on the booking portal – and are therefore more visible. In addition, more and more guests rely on the reviews and use them as a decisive factor in their booking decision." At the subsequent aperitif, everyone toasted the success and took the opportunity to exchange ideas with the service partners.

What's behind the Swiss Holiday Award
The Swiss Holiday Award annually honors destinations whose vacation rentals have received particularly high ratings from guests. E-Domizil guests can rate the vacation rentals they visit on a scale of 1 to 5 in the categories of amenities, location, cleanliness, exterior appearance, and value for money. In 2024, over 10,000 customer reviews were evaluated.
