You finally want to go out with your horse and set up camp in nature?
Then you will be well prepared after this course.
Description
As an "Aurora Outfitter", Karl Schwarzer organizes packing courses throughout Austria and beyond every year. This year his course will also take place here on San Jon.
He also works as an instructor for the Säumer Academy and the Wanderreiter-Akademie Austria. In his courses, the special focus is on practical relevance - so that you can soon be completely self-sufficient! Whether with a pack horse in hand or with the mule horse on foot.
The course is divided into:
a theoretical part
In which the knowledge is imparted about what it takes to bring man and horse well and safely through nature.
a practical part
It is important to practice in order to develop a feeling for it. In order to be able to deepen what has been learned, it is also implemented with a short walk to practice.
This is followed by a 3-day trek that takes you into the adventure of autonomous trail riding.
With tent, tarp or just sleeping bag we ride off. With pack horses in hand, we take everything we need with us.
