Description

The start of this tour is at the end of the village of Sur En. Directly at the entrance to the valley you have refreshment stops and connection to the Postbus line via Sent to Scuol. The alpine road leads through the wild valley until you reach the idyllically situated Alp Uina Dadaint at the very back. The Alp Uina Dadaint is hosted and invites you to a refreshment for the rest of the way. From here, only a narrow hiking trail leads first through the forest up to the rock faces. The approximately 600-metre-long path, which was blown into the steep rock face, was laid out at the beginning of the twentieth century as an access to the Pforzheimerhütte. As soon as the rock path has passed, the valley opens again and the hiking trail becomes a little flatter again. Past the Alp Sursass, over the Schlinig Pass it goes to Italy. Soon you reach the Sesvenna hut, which is located on South Tyrolean soil. The Sesvenna hut is hosted in summer and offers overnight accommodation. The hike continues down to Schlinig. From there, the bus is taken and driven back to Switzerland via the Reschen Pass.
