Description
After arriving in Guarda and a tour of Schellen-Ursli's home village, the hike begins in the direction of Val Tuoi. Above the course of the Clozza stream, the hike leads to Alp Suot. Above the tree line, the hike continues into the valley to the foot of the mighty Piz Buin with the Chamonna Tuoi CAS as the destination. (2250 m above sea level).

Guarda is one of the most beautiful villages and the Engadine houses with sgraffito, winding alleyways and quaint places to stop for a bite to eat invite you to linger. Guarda is also home to the small Schellen-Ursli museum, which was given its own film in 2017.

Directions
The hike starts in the village center of Guarda and then follows the signs for Chamonna Tuoi CAS as far as the edge of the forest. Along the forest road you reach Alp Suot, which is an ideal place for a short break. From Alp Suot, the hike continues into Val Tuoi to Chamonna Tuoi CAS.

With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, from the Upper Engadine or Scuol) hourly to Guarda staziun, subsequent connection to Guarda Staziun.
Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
- Guarda is located directly on the Engadine road H27 between Lavin and Ardez
