Wild neighbors - locusts and their way of life

Grasshoppers occur in many different habitats. Some of them are heavily dependent on land use by us humans. We get to know our neighbors better and what we can do for them. We salute Wart Biter, Great Mute Grasshopper, Eastern Hay Horse, Red-winged Grasshopper and, with a little luck and perseverance, Marsh Grasshopper and Short-winged Bite Grasshopper.
