Alps and mountain huts

The Chamonna Tuoi is located in the Tuoi valley, at the foot of the Piz Buin. The hut is also open in winter and is the ideal starting point for various hikes and climbing routes.  The hut is open until 01 May and then again from 04 July.

The Chamonna Lischana is located in the border triangle between Switzerland, Italy and Austria. In winter, the shelter is open. The hut opens again from June.

The Chamonna Cler is a self-catering hut located above Ardez. Here you have a view of the three-thousand-metre peaks on the opposite side of the valley and into the Lower Engadine side valleys of Val Zeznina, Val Nuna and Val Sampuoir. In the valley below, Ardez, Bos-cha and Sur En d'Ardez become visible.

Die Chamanna Cluozza ist die einzige bewirtete Hütte im Schweizerischen Nationalpark. Die Hütte bietet eine einfache und gemütliche Unterkunft in Zimmern oder Matratzenlagern. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Val Cluozza. 

Alp Astras is located between S-charl and Val Müstair and can only be reached on foot. Here you can enjoy fine cheeses as well as Salsiz.

Hike along the Via Engiadina and stop off at Alp Laret before descending to Alp Valmala and Val Tasna. Various dishes such as salad or soups will fortify you for the rest of the tour. Especially recommended: the Kaiserschmarrn.

Alp Laisch is located in the Val Plavna, above Tarasp. The alp is a dairy cow pasture and is catered for. Stop here and enjoy alpine products such as cheese and meat platters, salsiz and homemade desserts.

Alp Valmala is located in Val Tasna and is part of the Via Engiadina. Here you have the possibility of self-service. This alp can even be reached by car with permission (municipality of Ftan).

Alp Uina Dadaint is located in front of the spectacular Uina Gorge with its well-known rock path that leads to Alp Sursass. For refreshments, you can get a variety of cheeses and breads here.
