The Avalanche Course Refresher is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts who want to refresh and update their knowledge of avalanche danger. The course offers practical exercises and theoretical training to improve skills in avalanche rescue and risk assessment.

On a short tour we will look at track layout and terrain selection. Recognizing risk zones such as steep slopes, hollows and terrain edges.
We also discuss the human factor, such as group dynamics and decision-making.
You will be brought up to speed on the latest developments in companion rescue during an avalanche transceiver search exercise.
