Young Vera Brandes (Mala Emde) is determined to conquer her place in the music world of the 1970s. As a concert promoter, she brings international stars to Germany, despite her parents' resistance and the challenges she faces as a woman in a male-dominated industry. Her passion for music drives her to risk everything for her dream. The culmination of her efforts: The concert by the famous jazz pianist Keith Jarrett (John Magaro), which is scheduled to take place at the Cologne Opera on January 24, 1975. But shortly before the evening begins, everything threatens to go wrong and Vera is faced with the challenge of saving the concert, which will later go down in history as legendary.
