With wit, charm and passion, the Küng siblings embed the well-known works of their predecessors as well as new pieces from the pen of Roland Küng in their own sound language.

Founded in 1991, the Original Appenzeller Streichmusik feels connected to the musical heritage of its homeland. The search for diverse moods, authentic feelings and archaic images runs like a red thread through her current program. Whether rustic, danceous, luscious or melancholic, calm, thoughtful – the audience is presented with numerous states of mind that characterise the Appenzell folk soul.
