Successful completion of NRP project and start of project continuation
The NRP* project «Overall concept for (Mineral) Water Positioning», supported by the canton, came to an end at the end of November 2020 and was successfully completed at the beginning of 2021. During this time, smaller and larger measures were implemented and, above all, the topic of (mineral) water was better anchored in the region. The foundations have been laid on which further work can now be done. Although Scuol's mineral water has already become more visible and tangible, the topic itself as well as the offers and experiences are to become much better known.

The last major measure for the revision of the mineral water trails Scuol is the production and installation of the new information boards. They have a new look and show the latest values of the most important ingredients of the 20 mineral waters. In addition, the section on «Particularities» has been largely rewritten. So it's worth rediscovering the mineral springs and the associated information.

The «Bogn Engiadina» mineral baths have been given a landmark in front of the entrance on the Stradun, so that it can no longer be overlooked that the Bogn Engiadina is located here. In collaboration with the design agency «Bellprat Partner», the staging was created that prominently points out the mineral bath. The rusting steel symbolises the mineral water, whose deposits also cause orange-red discolouration. During the summer months, the landmark also receives a water feature that makes the connection to the water even clearer.

As part of the 650th anniversary «Experience Mineral Water», it was possible to implement the poster exhibition «From the History of Spa Tourism», which shows old advertising posters from the first half of the 20th century. The advertising was aimed at attracting new spa guests from all over the world. In addition to the posters, there are photos and exhibits of the «Büvetta Tarasp» drinking hall – the place that stands for the beginning of spa tourism in the Lower Engadin – all around and up to the area of the ticket offices.

The signposts for individual sources have also arrived
The mineral springs that are not in one of the three new circular routes of the Scuol mineral water trails have been given their own signposts. The brown signposts with the mineral springs mentioned by name show the way away from the circular trails to the springs, which are a kind of dead end. Mineral springs that are further away are also marked with the brown signposts and are thus easier to find.
