Portas Engiadinaisas

Photographs by Stephan Husen. The stately Engadine houses are known far beyond the Engadine. With their massive walls and decorations (sgraffitos), they characterize many a village. However, less attention is paid to the doors that lead into these houses. They are also stately and often show their own character. And often one involuntarily wonders who lives behind these doors.
The photographer Stephan Husen from Bern has documented the doors in various villages in the Lower Engadine in recent years. In the exhibition "Portas Engiadinaisas" he now shows photographs of the most beautiful and interesting specimens.
