Description

Your tour starts in the Engadine village of Tarasp. Right at the beginning there is a lot to see with the imposing castle, the small lake "Lai da Tarasp" and the beautiful Engadine houses. As soon as you leave the village, you enter the beautiful forest landscape that surrounds Tarasp. On the circular route you will pass the Catholic Church of Tarasp and the viewpoint "Mot da la Crusch". It is recommended to make a short stop here and enjoy the view.

The circular route continues to the hamlet of Avrona, which lies in a fairytale-like clearing. Here you will also find the Avrona inn, which is famous for its homemade cakes and specialities. From here we climb a little higher to another highlight of the tour, the popular Schwarzsee "Lai Nair". This place is especially popular with photographers because the water reflects beautifully. Finally, from here you follow the trail back to Tarasp.

The route is signalled on site with green route stickers on white signposts.
