Val Chaschauna
From Livigno the route climbs to its highest point, the alpine Chaschauna Pass (2,694m). From the top of the pass, the well-prepared flow trail winds its way in numerous serpentines into Val Chaschauna. The descent through the picturesque mountain valley lets the effort of the climb fade into a distant memory.

Description

The route first leads into the Valle Federia, before a gravel road zigzags up to the Rifugio Cassana. Shortly thereafter, the Chaschauna Pass is reached. Sufficient time should be allowed here. The following descent runs on the newly developed, flowing single trail to Alp Chaschauna, where there is probably the best apple strudel. From here, the trail joins the alpine road that leads to S-chanf. At Vaüglia Suot you cross the bridge and into the forest. Shortly thereafter, S-chanf, the end point of the 3rd stage, is reached.

Sicherheitshinweis
