Description

The wooden bridge crosses the Inn; at 60.5 metres, it is one of the longest still existing, navigable wooden bridges in Graubünden. A massive boulder serves as an intermediate support and forms the link to the structure. Inside the bridge, you can admire the richly dimensioned beams and the plaques with the inscriptions.

At the beginning, the path runs alongside the cross-country ski trail, and once you reach the beautiful clearing of Plan da Chomps, you take a separate path up to Plan da Muglin. Before you reach Plan da Muglin, turn right downhill in the forest towards the Inn, crossing the Brancla to Sot Döss via the cross-country bridge parallel to the trail. From Mils, follow the winter hiking trail up to the village of Ramosch as far as the bus stop on the main road.

The path is groomed after every snowfall. Please note the condition reports in the winter sports report. The tour was assessed in favourable weather conditions, the current snow and weather conditions must be taken into account before setting off.

The route runs along the cross-country ski trails - please do not enter the trail.

Ausrüstung

High and sturdy hiking boots or winter boots, warm clothing, sun cream, sunglasses, sun protection, hiking poles.

Spikes are recommended. If there is little snow, the path can quickly become icy.

Arrival information

From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27

From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27

From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27

Sur En lies below Sent on the Inn, from the Engadine road H27 there is a turn-off down to Sur En.
