Tschlin – Vnà – Sinestra – Ramosch

Tschlin is located on a sun terrace at 1550 m above sea level. The tour starts at the entrance to the village at the PostBus stop. Already from there you have a beautiful view of the opposite side of the valley with Piz Lad, Piz Nair, Piz S-chalabert, Piz Ajüz and up to Piz Lischana. At the first fountain, turn left and follow the forest road for 1.6 km to the fireplace. From here on, more single trails follow. After the short ascent in Val Ruinains, the first marmots greet you on the alpine meadow. In constant ups and downs, it goes through the sparse forest and over alpine meadows to the culturally and historically interesting ruins of the Maiensässe near Chant Dadaint and Chant Sura. Shortly before Vnà you reach a fireplace, which is ideal for a short break. To fill up the water bottle, there are several fountains to choose from in Vnà. In Vnà you cross the village and follow the hiking trail towards Val Sinestra. Shortly after the village, turn left towards Val Sinestra. Soon you will see the mysterious Hotel Val Sinestra. According to legend, a ghost also lives here. But the path leads you past the hotel, on the left side of the valley high above the rushing river Brancla in the direction of Ramosch. At Plan Vnà you reach the road to Ramosch, which you follow for a short distance before turning left at the next bend at the bench onto the hiking trail to the village of Ramosch. The PostBus stop is located on the cantonal road. Before that, there is the opportunity to quench your thirst at the village fountain or for a cooling, regenerating foot bath.
